River Wood Miniature Equine Horses

~ OUR FARM ~

Our farm is River Wood Miniature Horses ~ located in south central Minnesota ~ the land of 10,000 lakes ~ amongst the corn and bean fields in the summer and the snow drifts in the winter. We live approximately 20 miles south of Mankato, or about 75 miles south of Minneapolis/St. Paul, in the heart of one of the finest farming communities in Minnesota.

Our passion is to breed quality registered Miniature Horses of Beauty ~ Grace ~ Elegance and Refinement ~ and to always keep our standards high.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our friends who have offered us their friendship ~ who have helped us ~ encouraged us ~ and supported us during our venture with the Miniature Horses and who are always there for us. HERD REDUCTION!

~ Hello everyone we are glad that you stopped by for a visit! ~

2009 is going to be an exciting year for us as we look forward to building a new home... but until then, I am afraid that we will need to part with many of our horses to free up some of our time for our new adventure. For now, our loss will be your gain ~ but we'll be back into it full force again soon!
In the next few days/weeks we will be adding some horses to our site for your consideration. Some have never before been offered & some are in foal to our Reserve National Champion Tibbs Rapid Transit (on our Stallions page) & are due to foal this spring!
Keep checking our sales page from time to time. If you see something that you like, please don't hesitate to make us an offer. It never hurts to ask!
